Limelite Cafe in Augusta is a straightforward bar & grill where the focus is on casual, no-frills socializing paired with hearty, familiar pub fare. Located on Agerton Lane, this spot fits the bill for evenings when you’re after classic wings, a cold beer, and a lively but unpretentious atmosphere rather than polished dining.

The main draw here is clearly the wings—whether it’s the lemon pepper wet wings or the small fry paired with a pitcher of domestic beer, the kitchen turns out sizable, well-seasoned portions that locals appreciate. Alongside the wings, you’ll find straightforward bar snacks like curly fries, bacon cheese tots, and fried pickles, which all complement a solid lineup of domestic beers, Heineken, or a Stella Artois if you’re looking for something a bit lighter. The bartenders seem to be a highlight too; friendly and approachable, they contribute to the kind of gathering spot feel that keeps people coming back.

Inside, expect a fairly smoky, lively bar with a mixture of people, a long bar for seating, and entertainment options like darts, pool tables, and electronic games. It’s the kind of neighborhood hangout where the police showing up at the door isn’t unusual, which locals have noted as evidence of a reasonable sense of safety rather than tension. Loud music, no DJ, and a casual crowd set the tone for an evening of relaxed, uncomplicated fun.

This is a place to visit if you’re looking for a low-key night out with friends, especially if wings and beer are the plans. Weekday evenings or weekends filled with groups of regulars seem to be the norm. It’s not a date night or formal dinner spot but rather a comfortable space for locals unwinding and connecting over sports on TV, games, and shared plates.

Overall, Limelite Cafe suits anyone after that classic bar experience: good wings without fuss, straightforward drinks, and a no-pressure atmosphere where friendliness from staff is part of the package. If you want something more refined or quiet, it’s not the place to go, but for dependable pub grub and a welcoming bar vibe in Augusta, it holds its own.

Food was fantastic, best wings I have had in Augusta! It is a bar... don't go expecting a fine dining experience.

Second time coming here it's not a bad little crowd here. Nothing special about the drinks in my opinion but I have a preference for drinks so that may just be me. Police are in the building by the door so that is a 1st. That automatically makes this place safer. No DJ, but they have darts, pool tables and other electronic games. Bar is long. I would go back just to give it another chance to get a stronger opinion

I wasn’t experienced there at all, but some of my friends usually go there. I liked one female bartender as friendly and cool. Also, she gave me a good special beer as Blue Moon. Next time I tried to catch some friends as I can.

Staff friendly and attentive, food came quick and hot(lemon-yaki wings with house fries), decent prices.

The joys of finding a small bar with a mixture of people and amazing bartenders! When visiting Augusta I made sure to stop in on the advice of a good friend who is in here all the time. The atmosphere is exactly what I’d expect, smoky, loud, mixture of music, and just great vibes. Unfortunately, I did not get my bartenders name but he was amazing.. i asked him what his favorite drink to make was and he poured me up a Bob Marley(which was great!). My eyes were bigger than my stomach so I ordered 20 wings mild-yaki and spicy lemon pepper which both were so good! Limelite will definitely be seeing me again.
